ACT clutch kits are a great product and have a reasonable pricing for the quality that is put in them. This is the second clutch kit that I have bought, one for an N/A 95 Tercel and this recent purchase for a 93 RX-7. |

I bought this clutch 2 weeks ago at a great great price and it feels great. It grips very well and can handle the torque I am pulling . It is very street friendly but yet has a great responsive aggressive feel to it. I strongly recommend this clutch for those seeking power, torque , and street friendly handling performance. |

I have been using this clutch for a little over 3 years now, with little degredation of performance. The kit handles just about everything except the wildest of upgrades and begs for more. The harsh engagement is something that took a little getting used to, but can be tamed. I recently purchased a new friction disc and lightweight flywheel when I rebuilt my engine this spring. The old disc made a loud screeching sound, resembling tires spinning. The new disc has an improved center hub design that seems to have all but eliminate the noise. It is, by far, the best clutch that I have owned, but can drive you crazy in stop and go traffic. |

-noticeable increase in acceleration on moderately flat ground
-loss of some power when pulling hills
-little difference in rev speed
-used in combination with an ACT 4-puck race disk and an ACT heavy duty pressure plate; slight chatter when pulling from stop
-overall pretty much what i expected and recommend for a street car |

I bought this clutch for my 2.4 4cyl and got a noticeable increase in shifting. I can now with a stock motor, electri fan and exhaust, turn the tires over in 2nd and churp them in 3rd so yeah i couldnt do that before. Install was a little hard because of everything you have to take off but other than that it is all worth it 4th and 5th gear with snap your head back to. and if you think you have to try to bark the tires you dont i do it all the time not trying so it is really worth getting them. |

if your looking for a new clutch go with this one it is awsome but it is like learning how to drive stick again..! i put it in in about 3 hrs with a prolight flywheel... very easy if you kno what your doing if you upgrade to this clutch you need to upgrade to a better flywheel!!!!! all and all i am extremely happy with this product!!! hondas never die!!! |
