Easy instalation ...less than half an hour...it may not be a true CAI but, there is a little bit of pickup when you hit the gas...also gives you a throatier sound. |

I bought the 1 gallon refill bottle instead of the recharge kit. It pays off in the long run since you use more of the degreaser than the oil. Well worth the money and Performance Center shipped it really fast. Highly recommended! |

I put the filter on our 2006 Toyota Avalon. We were averaging 19-21 miles per gallon around town (stop and go traffic). After installing the K&N Filter, we are averaging 27-29 miles per gallon around town. Our driving habits did not change. We havent taken a trip but Ill be curious as to our MPG average. Previously, we were getting 29-31 MPG doing 70-75 MPH.
Because of the filter, the air sensors on the vehicle caused the check engine light to come on. I disconnected the negative pole on the battery and reconnected it. Supposedly, this resets the computer. No problems since then. |
