I have a 67 Mustang with an 8 rear end. Where it is a 302 and has been stroked to a 347 and stuffed to the gills... .608 cam, 210cc heads, etc etc.. She moves and TONS of tourque. Where it is only an 8 carrier, I wanted something STRONG, and this is it! Works awesome, nbever fails.. and the torque it transfers to the tar is crazy! Its a 5 speed manual with 3.80 gears. I DEF REC. this product!

After burning up three friction type differentials, I switched to the cone locker. I drive mostly on the street (20k/yr), I also drag race it here on Maui once a month. It locks up fine while remaining fair to good on the street, although a little "noisy" at times which is just fine with me.
I would recommend it highly for high h/p applications as I haven't killed mine yet. 625hp at wheels and 5000 rpm launches never felt so good.
a world of difference

This was one of the best investments made on my truck. Sure it's not a locker but it is very well mannered on the street and still can take a beating off road. Definitely for the weekend warrior or someone looking to gain that extra bit of grip. This diff. grips and goes, no spinning wildly out of control.
