This cargo carrier is constructed of very high quality steel and is a solid carrier. The assembly took minutes with a ratchet and adjustable wrench and was quickly ready for use. I added a couple of custom made rails out of 3/4 EMT to help keep items in the carrier although there is a prefab rail kit available. The only downside was the amount of play in the hitch as it was a little more than I would like. This did not affect my ability to use this carrier. One thing to note: There is a warning/advisory to the owner to make sure the license plate is visible either by relocating it or, as I did, making a copy and taping it to the rear window. |
