always fast shipping with performance center. parts shipped were correct but a pain to install. for coil over shocks you will need spring compressors and a lot of patience. took me about 4 hours to install but totally worth the work. truck rides great. thanx again performance center. |

These shocks are amazing. - 09/03/2008
Review for: Front Heavy Duty Shock

I shopped long & hard for something that would eliminate the mushy & toppiness in my 2003 Ford E150 stock van suspension. I was told: thats just the way its supposed to be. My mechanic wanted to sell me a new set of tires but I passed. I installed a rear anti-sway bar, but still toppy. I tried Monroe Sensatrac shocks; what a waste. I considered swapping out the front coil springs to a stiffer version. Instead, I finally bit the bullet & waited for a sale & bot the Bilstein shocks. They are amazing. Toppiness is gone, but not a harsh or choppy ride either. Under control, flat turns, no lurching or mushing. Just putting a pair on the front made an amazing difference. Its hard to describe: they control so well you really dont know theyre there just doing their job. Absolutely first class & a much safer feel on the road. No more bouncing up & down & my ball joints should last forever! |
