Borla Headers

I installed this header on my 1996 Jeep Cherokee. It would be nice if Borla made the hanger on the midpipe into a rod that resembled the original hanger. I had to weld a steel rod onto the hanger peice that Borla had attached to the pipe.

Also, if you have skid protection (I have a Rustys engine/tranny skid) you might have to modify your skid mount to allow for the routing of the header and midpipe.

It would be a worthy investment to buy o-rings for your injectors, as they are inexpensive ($12 for six sets) and could need replacement.

Product as described, shipping took longer than expected, no problems on install.

Great product but took a little long to recieve. Fit perfectly and seems to have more power. Only conmplaint is that Borla could of deburred the welds on the inside of the headers.Some were some were not.

Great product by a great company! My only complaint is that it has a minor dent in the header from the shipping! I decided to live with it and not go through the hastle of trying to get a replacement one!

I had no problems installing the Borla Header. I was hoping for (and recieved) not just the header but the down tube from the header to the cat. converter. Some pictures from Borla show this and some dont and there is no mention of it in their description. However, it did come with it so I was very pleased with the system in whole.

This is a VERY well made product. Great match with the Borla exhaust system. Install is much easier than I thought it would be just make sure you do NOT completely remove the bottom bolts when installing because it is a BITCH to get them back on with the manifold. Just leave them very loose and set the mainfold on top of them...would have saved me 2 hours. Get a jeep service manual and TORQUE CORRECTLY to avoid leaks.

I am very happy with this header. It shipped immeadiately, with all the hardware included (except header bolts, which is not part of this package) The header fit perfectly. It looks great and since its stainless steel, it should last forever. Thanks PerformanceCenter for offering this quality product at a great price and shipping out so quickly.

2002 Chevy Silverado 4.8L 5Spd The install was easy, however the instructions are not crystal clear and step by step. For the price Borla could have created a more accurate instruction guide. The performance and response is nothing short of amazing. Coupling the Borla headers with the Borla split rear cat-back is the perfect combination. It has moved the power curve to the left by about 1500 RPMs and dramatically increased my HP. Not to mention the sound is awesome. If you have the money to spend and plan on keeping your vehicle for an extended period, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these headers.

Great product, easy to install. Gained around 7-10hp and sounds phenomenal. Transaction went thru smoothly and recieved parts sooner than expected, using ground shipping. Great company to deal with and hope to do business with them again. A +++

I am extremely pleased with the Borla Header that I purchased from Truck Performance. It greatly increased performance and added a nice throaty sound. I am running the header along with a K&N filtercharger system and I cannot believe the difference. The Borla Header is a great buy for Wrangler 4.0L owners that need some extra horsepower.
