Carsound Direct Fit Catalytic Converters

I have not yet installed the cat as I am waiting for the rest of the exhaust pipe parts to do so.

The flange that bolts up to your headers was drilled incorrectly so the holes were spaced too far apart. So the holes had to be redrilled and relieved abit for them to line up correctly and so as not to cross thread the bolts when tightening everything down. All o2 senser ports were spot on as well as length. Fit, finish, quality all looks really good. Performance?? Engine seems to breath a little better. Well see in time if it improves gas mileage or anything else.

I installed this converter for the simple reason that the oem one cost $530. I had a catalyst ineffiency code on my truck so I just replaced the converter. The code went away and there was a little bit of additional performance, but I dont know if it was due to the fact that my converter was stopped up or what.

I am posting this review to say that i have received 1 direct-fit cat.converter from Performance center. This converter was easy to install as stated in the product description. I did an on-line search and after checking many websites i found the best price here on performance center. This converter sells for almost $300.00 at auto parts stores and even on-line but performance center had for $85.00 and in stock and was even on SALE!! It took about one week for delivery from order to my door step and fit perfectly. Thank you performance center!!!!

Great Product. Made very well and performs perfectly. Only problem was the fit. Had to bend my existing Y pipe outlet a bit to get alignment. Highly recommended and great price!

i received the converter and installed it in a short time and am pleased with the service and the product.

Although I would have preferred the converter to ship with new bolts and nuts, and a new gasket, the installation was very easy and completely compatible with the rest of the system. The power difference is definitely noticeable, and so far I have had no problems due to the converter. Overall, it was a good purchase, especially for the sale price.

The cat came in about a week from the day I ordered it. The fit and finish was perfect. Sounds realy good on my Jeep. It compliments the Duramax exaust well. Havent checked milage yet, but noticed a power increase.
