Carsound Direct Fit Catalytic Converters

i put this on my 1994 cherokee and noticed a better sound, the engine runs much smoother and wasnt hard to install. highly recommended

This is actually a Magnaflow cat, produced & manufactured by Carsound. Perfect fit first time! Great!

Had to replace all exhaust from exhaust pipe to tail pipe. The cat had the flange to connect to the exhaust pipe with new gasket, nuts and bolts. Put cat back on and was 3 inches short. Took cat to my exhaust shop and they welded a piece on and everything connected up without further problems including hanger connection to tranny mount. System is solid and sounds great.

This high flow cat is nice. The installation took awhile due to the fact that the bolts from the flange to the resonator were rusted but other than that, installation of the new cat was pretty straightforward. I notice a nice little power gain when I stepped on the throttle. I have an AEM cold air system in my car and it made it sound so much better! I would recommend this product for an upgrade in performance and still not be pulled over by the cops lol. The delivery didnt take long and I am satisfied with this product.

The delivery of this product was pretty quick as usual. Installation took a little longer than expected due to the fact that the resonator was rusted with the catalytic converter flange. Other than that, the performance of this product was pretty substantial. I can feel a slight increase in power when I step on the throttle. I have an AEM cold air system in my car and when I floor it, the high flow cat makes it sound so much better! I would recommend anybody to buy this product if they want a little extra power and not get pulled over by the cops. I will buy from this website in the near future as always.

Performance center was great with the purchase and price matched like they said they would. Product was shipped and recieved in a timely manner. The only problem I ran into is that it wasnt a direct fit bolt up. I ordered it for my year and make, but the one I received was slightly different. It would have been a direct fit for my 96 Tahoe. My 98 suburban however had a single outlet to the muffler. This cat has a dual outlet to the muffler. I still installed it and had the exhaust from the cat-back done and it sounds and works great. Check Engine light went out immediately. Performance gain is very noticeable.

I have not yet installed the cat as I am waiting for the rest of the exhaust pipe parts to do so.

The flange that bolts up to your headers was drilled incorrectly so the holes were spaced too far apart. So the holes had to be redrilled and relieved abit for them to line up correctly and so as not to cross thread the bolts when tightening everything down. All o2 senser ports were spot on as well as length. Fit, finish, quality all looks really good. Performance?? Engine seems to breath a little better. Well see in time if it improves gas mileage or anything else.

I installed this converter for the simple reason that the oem one cost $530. I had a catalyst ineffiency code on my truck so I just replaced the converter. The code went away and there was a little bit of additional performance, but I dont know if it was due to the fact that my converter was stopped up or what.
