Venom 400 Electronic Control Module

The Venom 400 chip is somewhat easy to install as long as you know what your doing. The instructions that came with it helped but the completing the how process took a good 4-5 hours. I didnt have too much room under my hood to place the module so we ended up drilling a hole through my firewall into my glove compartment and sat it in there. The only differences with the chip is that there are no delays in accelerating. Also the light will come on after 4500- 5000 rpms. Thats when the module is suppose to kick in. Not a bad product :)

I installed the venom 400 on my 2001 Z24 a week ago. Installation was tricky, but with a bit of mod to the battery terms it installed nice and neat. I can feel the power boast at 3000rpm+ and alot more torque out of the line. well worth the price. I would buy this product again.

IT was great fast shipping , and the module works great aswell havent put it on a dyno yet so I dont know how much HP I got out of it but I can definitely feel the diffrence . But If you want a ten second car this isnt want your looking for.

As soon as i put it on my 2000 V6 Mustang i instantly felt the difference in throttle response. It doesnt even feel like a V6 anymore. I highly recomend it.

I was real worried about buying the chip cause i heard that all of them were b/s especially for cars. But as soon as i put the chip on i could feel a great improvement in power. Not as powerful as i thought it would be. Yet i am still very impressed. If your an enthuiast about your ride. I would recommend this Module. Its great.

I installed this unit for a customer of mine and you could notice a difference right away. It should be even better in a week or so once the computer figures out what exactly is going on and runs great in connection with the Venom 400.

I bought my venom 400 for a 02 cavalier and it did only take 30 minuts or less to install. I had great hp gains, and they were very noticable. The only down fall was that the instructions do not tell you that the red L.E.D. light is not going to come on unless you are driving or you floor it while its in park. Meaning once its hooked up the light wont be on, but it will come on.

Over all an easy installation, some wire colors on my vehicle were differant. As for HP increase I will have to dyno to know exact increase but, I did notice a slight increase from regular driving. Hint place in cab LED low in dash, it can be bit anoying when it's in your face. Maybe I should keep my foot out of it? Not! I like it and recommend it to anyone.

Own a 1998 Chevy S10 pickup 4.3L V6. I have a K&N cold air filter, throttle body spacer, flowmaster 40 series on my truck before adding the Venom 400. It made a huge difference in the shift points and acceleration. I can absolutely feel the difference. Even when the LED light is not activated, I feel the difference that it makes. Works well and happy with purchase.
