We ordered and received the CIPA 7000 for our 1998 GMC Suburban. The Suburban had OEM Electric power and defrost. We ordered the CIPA in power only, not realizing the wiring would not match our OEM connectors, consequently had to do some rewiring to adapt. Both door panels had to be removed, the wiring connectors were not at or near the mirror attachment as we had been led to believe. On the plus side, the vision to the rear is superb, although the little spot mirrors are too small for our taste.

The mirrors are huge! Much better for backing a trailer, seeing around your trailer while in tow. Only down side is that the mirrors are very tough to extend. I wish they were just a little easier to extend, but not a big deal.
