 The K&N Generation II Fuel Injection Performance Kit, also known as the FIPK, is designed to increase performance in fuel injected engines by providing air filtration with the least possible resistance in air flow. The benefit of low resistance air filters can be felt directly in throttle response. In addition to the reusable air filter, K&N Gen II air intake kits have uniquely designed adapters. These K&N adapters create a radius entry which reduces restriction and allows the engine to ingest an even greater volume of air. To design such an assembly, two factors must be considered: the air filtering element and the air filter adapter. The K&N Gen II FIPK combines a reusable, precision high-flow K&N air filter element with other necessary components, depending on the specific application. These K&N air intakes are 50-state smog legal and many of our customers report fuel mileage improvements after installation. |

Awesome intake! Only took about 25 minutes to install onto my 95 f-150. Very noticeable throttle response increase, increased passing power, but my favorte and i would say the most noticeable thing about this intake is the amount of engine and exhaust noise increased... I mash on the throttle and the engine roars like a 351! Its insane! All around this is a great K&N product and totally worth the 250 dollar price tag. |

I felt a imidate power gain with the K&N intake. The directions were ok but could have been easier to follow. The time it took to put it on was accurate and it was well worth it. It gave my Tundra the quick throttle response I was looking for. |

Had mechanic install the cold air intake. Unless your a nascar mechanic, nobody could put this thing on in 20 minutes. But the end result is worth it. Im not seeing any gas mileage improvement, but the power is definetely there. |

Slight modifications to supplied brackets not withstanding, (drill the AC bracket hole to 7/16), the intake system has proved itself right out of the box. Increases in fuel mileage and performance are immediate, as well as the sound factor. Good purchase. |

K&N Generation II Fuel Injection Performance Kit (FIPK) - Product Details
The K&N Generation II FIPK can increase horsepower, acceleration and torque for your engine. The two main components of the K&N intake kit are the high density polyethylene (HDPE) tube and the cotton gauze air filter.
Because it is made out of HDPE instead of metal, the tube in the K&N kit is capable of decreasing the air temperature and, as a result, increasing horsepower. The HDPE of the K&N tube also allows it to be molded to the optimal shape for different engines. The cone-shaped K&N high flow air filter is the largest it can be to capture more dirt and provide greater airflow.
The K&N FIPK is created to fit the specifics of the make, model and year of your car for optimal performance. Each kit comes with instructions and hardware for easy installation.
