Flex-A-Lite Perma-Cool

Flex-A-Lite Cooling Fans

  Flex-A-Lite Electric Fans
Flex-A-Lite manufacturers fans for almost every application on the road, so whatever you drive, car, truck, or SUV, there's probably an electric fan for your application. Also, replacing your belt-driven fan with an electric fan puts horsepower back, instead of robbing horsepower to run a fan.

Perma-Cool Cooling Fans

PERMA-COOL Clutch Fans & Fan Spacers
Stop losing horsepower from driving your cooling fan with a Perma-Cool Turbo Flex Fan! The unique design of this flex fan ensures your engine is being cooled at low RPM, but the blades flatten out at high RPM, reducing the load on the engine and freeing up power.

  PERMA-COOL Electric Fan Accessories
Finish the job right with the appropiate wiring kit, mounting kit or housing from Perma-Cool.

  PERMA-COOL Electric Fans
Turbo-Flex Electric Fans are designed to assist belt-driven fans when additional cooling is required, to replace factory electric fans for equal or better air flow at a lower cost, or to replace the factory driven fan for improved engine performance and better gas mileage. All Turbo-Flex electric fans are pre-assembled and shipped as "pullers."

Review for: 16 dual shrouded S-Blade universal electric fan w/ variable speed control
From Arkansas Reviewer: From A Customer   Own this product - Yes
I installed the Dual 16 inch S-Blade electric fan with variable speed control universal bracket in a 1988 Airstream Motor home that is built on a Chevrolet P30 chassis. The Airstream is powered by a Cummins 6BTA5.9 engine and is cooled by the original P30 radiator. The dual fans attached to the top and bottom of the radiator without any alteration. The variable speed control is working flawlessly. The fans appear to be more than adequate to control the engine heat. All necessary hardware was included with the unit. Instructions were simple to follow and installation was easy.

Review for: Dual 15-inch Electric Puller Fan, 5500 CFM
From Wildomar, Ca Reviewer: From A Customer   Own this product - Yes
I have a 1999 ford f-150 ext. cab 4x4 with a 4.6L and I bought these fans a few weeks ago. The install was a little more difficult than expected, but not to bad. Only took me about 3 hours to install them. The most difficult part of the whole install was the wiring. It is much easier to just tap into your fuse box and find a hot fuse when the ignition is on that way. My battery was having trouble with these fans when my truck was off, so i would recommend swapping out the alternator while your putting the fans in. And if you are already doing that also, might as well do the under drive pulleys and throttle body too! Great buy.

Review for: 15-inch Electric Puller Fan: 1950 CFM
From Front Royal, VA Reviewer: From A Customer   Own this product - Yes
This product worked for me. I had my mechanic install it. When I got the truck back there was a noticeable improvement in horse power. But here is the best part. I got into a fender bender and the electric motor was pushed back into the block and damaged. When the body shop got everything put back right, I simply bought a new fan unit, unclipped the old one and clipped in the new unit and I was back in business. Now you might say so what? Well, if I had not converted to an electric fan in the first place. The accident would have pushed the radiator into the big mechanical fan and that would have meant at least a new radiator and a new water pump and who knows what else. Thumbs up for Flex-a-lite
4 out of 5 stars Good Fan with no controls - 06/20/2008
Review for: Low Boy Engine Puller Cooling Fan
From South Texas Reviewer: From A Customer   Own this product - Yes
The fan is an excellant fan but it has no controls that come with it. There is nothing printed in the description that tells you what is needed to actually make this fan work as intended. Flex-a-lite needs to add what is actually needed in there descriptions( Relays, thermostat switch etc.)

Works well, easy install, takes time to fine tune the thermostat. Not much of a power gain, but a slight bit better MPG. A bit pricy for what you get. If you have the money, buy it.
