My '06 PT Cruiser convertible-Touring came with front 25mm and rear 17mm bars mounted on rubber bushings. Replacing these with the Eibach F&R bar package substantially improved overall handling, stability, road "feel" and ride. All 4 wheels now seem firmly "planted" whether cornering or on the straight. Eibach product quality is excellent. I suggest mounting front end link bolts down (instead of up as instructions show) to better clear CV joints. Rear bar Eibach plastic bushings in factory clamps takes some effort but will fit and work fine if the flat surface on Eibach busings is filed to a rounded surface instead.

Well I was going to buy the other kit but then got a hook up on the Eibach and money was a little tight so that swayed me... :)
Installation was a snap, I actually put the rear on first, took me about an hour doing it myself. Its basically a case of undoing the bolts, dropping the old bar off, and reattaching the new one. Easy. I drove around on just the rear upgrade for a couple of weeks before finally putting the front one on. Even with the rear upgrade, the truck felt much tighter.
Just got done putting the front on, installation was fairly easy. Drop the skid plate off, undo the bolts, switch out the bars and put it back together. Again it was about an hour. Having a helper present to wrench off the nut on the oem tie ends whilst you hold the top nut is a plus. Putting the supplied Eibach replacement pieces on is a one man show. I did have a sticky moment when I couldn't get the new bar threaded through the frame and in to place. But a bit of patience got me there in the end.
The truck with both front and back on is very taught, I love the feeling, but it is not too much. I wanted to kit to help on freeway trips and it has certainly done that.
If you see a white Avalanche with stickers on it whipping around corners, it's me. :)

I changed my stock springs AND my sway bars to Eibachs Pro-Truck and Anti-Roll Bars. I ALSO changed my stock shocks to Bilstein Heavy-Duty's, and my stock stabilizer links (aka sway bar links) to Moog's. I wanted to lose some of the fender gap without sacrificing ride comfort.
Eibachs fit the bill PERFECTLY! They dropped my truck approximately 2" in the front and rear. The truck now rides MUCH BETTER than before!
I live in New York City where there are TONS of potholes and bad roads, and the Eibachs, Bilsteins, and Moogs soak them up VERY well. If you change the anti-roll/sway bars as I did, MAKE SURE to change the stabilizer/sway bar LINKS as well, in addition to an alignment.
With the stock suspension when you hit a bump the truck would bounce/float 2-3 times; this is very typical of GMC trucks, Cadillac Escalades, etc... and I considered it very unsettling.
With the Eibachs, Bilsteins, and Moogs the truck hits a bump and keeps on going, JUST like a European sedan! The ride is VERY similar to a BMW 3-series.
I'd HIGHLY recommend Eibach springs and anti-roll kits to ANYONE!
Nice upgrade for V6 owners...

The addition of the rear sway bar, which bolted right in, showed a dramatic improvement alone. And after changing to the Eibach sway bar on the front, I was very impressed with the ease of install for the drastic pick up in cornering ability.
