I am very pleased with the fit and function of the Flowmaster Force II Single Side. My 2005 Yukon never sounded so good. However, I primarly did this to improve engine efficiency/performance. The 5.3L was a little weak-kneed pulling a 10x6 1 ton cargo trailer (fully loaded) up hills on the interstate and gas mileage was way low too. I havent yet seen improvement in mileage, too soon to tell, but Im expecting at least an increase of approx 1 mpg highway. |

This was my first cat-back installation, and this Flowmaster kit was simple and easy. The instructions included in the kit simplified not only the installation, but the removal of my old exhaust has well. The real treat came after the installation was completed, when we started the car. Minimal sound at idle, but then she sings when the RPMs are bumped up. Thanks for a great kit! |

Installation took less than an hour. Sounds Great and looks good as well. I found using a torque wrench on the clamps helpful. I had one pipe vibrate loose and had to reconnect it to the muffler. I put all clamps to 45ft-lbs on pipe to pipe connections and 55ft-lbs on muffler to pipe connections. It seems to be the most torque that can be applied without collapse of the pipe. If anything comes loose now, i will have the system welded. |
