Converted To Mass Air
Review for: Black Mass Airflow Sensor
|
|||
I converted my 88 Mustang GT to mass air. I chose to use the Granatelli Mass Air Flow sensor calibrated for 19 lbs injectors. It was easy to install. After the completion of the conversion the car idles smoother, accelerates better and I noticed the car runs a little bit cooler. I attribute that to the the fact that now my 5.0 is getting the correct fuel/air ratio at all RPMs. |

I noticed a slight improvement in performance. What impressed me is a 2 mpg improvement. The price was very good and it wont take long to recover my money feeding this 496 beast!! |

Although I had to wait over a month for this part to arrive, It was well worth the wait. I installed this on a 99 chevy camaro that already had a volant cold air intake, magnaflow cats, and a borla exhaust system on it and it really opened it up. noticable power gains through the entire power band. VERY IMPRESSED |

Great Product good price, its a good upgrade and adds more torque. You gotta have the cold air intake to go with the mass air flow sensor or it wont work the way its supposed to. |

I purchased for my 1999 F250 SuperDuty 4x4 6.8L V10 (gas) and have to say installation was easy and not even 10 minutes! I noticed an immediate increase in horsepower and gained 2-3 mpg. And at gas prices being almost $4.00/gal. I believe this was a great investment for me & everyone else! |

Installed this product inconjunction with a K&N 77 Series Cold Air intake. Not sure which gives me the instance response with the gas pedal and power to the rear wheels but when it is raining outside an you apply just a little to much gas and my tires are spinning. |

Granatelle MAF and Cold Air Intake System
Review for: High-Flow Mass Air Sensor And Cold Air Intake Kit
|
|||
With a bit of a fuss getting the air box and the cold air tube that goes to the throttle body aligned, the system went in relatively easy and with little problems. I swapped out a K&N system for this one, so I didn’t have to take the stock system off; and the de-install and install took about 15 minutes. I immediately noticed considerable throttle improvement as well as an increase average of 1 MPG on the freeway (according to my Edge Evolution). My 2004 F-150 FX4 has a distinct sound to it now and growls when you put your foot into it. I highly recommend this product and I’m sure you would appreciate the considerable performance gains! |

This product seems fantastic. I put it on my 1999 Suburban two months ago and wanted to get a good feel of the product before I wrote a review. Previously I installed the Air Raid Throttle Body Spacer to my engine. Now after adding this Mass Airflow Sensor I have a 3 MPG improvement. Hard to believe I went from 12.5-13 to 16.7 mpg with hiway driving. Throttle response and power are better as well. I am glad I decided to give it a try. |
