Hellwig Power Lift Air Springs are a rear suspension upgrade for popular GM SUVs that are used for towing. The Powerlift Coil to Air Conversion is designed to automatically adjust vehicle ride height under load and improves stability and control when towing heavy objects. The Power Lift Air Springs are easily deactivated when not towing so your SUV maintains it's factory ride the rest of the time. If you use your GM SUV to tow, the Hellwig Power Lift Air Spring System is a must for you!

As advertised - Need to proof instructions - 09/24/2008
Review for: Rear 1-1/8 inch 4140 Chrome Moly Steel Anti-Sway Bar

The Sway Bar performs exactly as advertised. Handling is firmer and more precise. Ride suffers a little but worth it. Lost a little time on the install due to faulty instructions but not difficult. Glad I bought it. |

Helper springs on a 99 Chevy s-10 - 08/21/2008
Review for: EZ-1000 Medium Duty Helper Springs - Pair
These installed easily even with my modified exhaust. They returned the sagging rear to a mostly stock height and they are adjustable. They stiffened up the ride but with a load in back I dont even notice. For the money they seem to be working very well. |

Flat in turns - 08/21/2008
Review for: Gm C/K 1500 Rsb Adjustable
I installed this rear sway bar after installing the front unit. I had aftermarket dual exhaust and needed to have it moved ahead of the rear end for clearance for the swaybar between the rear end and spare tire. Overall I love the swaybar, it stays much flatter in tight turns now. My recomendation would be to install it in the middle position, then before driving for first time move back to Softest position. I installed with it in the softest position and now when I want to change to the firmest position its alignment is way off and I need to rotate my U-Bolts on the Axle for proper aligment. If had installed in middle position, both Softest and Firmest would be equally un-alligned, but still drivable. Ride is a little stiffer, but thats expected with a fatter sway bar. |

Much better than stock! - 08/21/2008
Review for: 1500 Tahoe, Yukon, Sub, Fbs
Installed in about 15 minutes, super easy. Much flatter in turns than stock, and in combo with the rear kit I just cant stop smiling in tight turns. Ride is a little stiffer, and I feel more bumps in the road, but thats expected with fatter sway bars. I installed it about a week before I installed the rear kit and noticed a big differance between it and the stock sway bar. But I could feel the back of the truck wanting to lean in turns, until I installed the rear sway bar. 2007 Silverado Reg. Cab SB. |

Nice springs - 05/20/2008
Review for: EZ-1000 Medium Duty Helper Springs - Pair
I bought these helper springs to increase the height when pulling my 18 foot trailer. They do seem to help. I only have the tension set about half way so there is room to adjust in the future if needed. I did not want to set the to the max and have a harsh ride when no load was present. |

EZ-1000 helper springs - 05/13/2008
Review for: EZ-1000 Medium Duty Helper Springs - Pair

These springs raised my payload on my s-10 by a pretty good amount. The ride is stiffer but that is to be expected. I would suggest them to anybody who just needs a little payload increase |

Hellwig rear anti-sway - 04/16/2008
Review for: Rear 7/8 inch 4140 Chrome Moly Steel Anti-Sway Bar
Good product but Hellwig did not include any kind of lubricant for the polyurethane bushing, such as white lithium, so they squeak a lot. This is especially true in cold weather. If you are purchasing these products, make sure you get some kind of long lasting grease such as lithium or whatever. NOTE: this goes for front swaybars such as addco...both companies do not include such grease. Make sure you purchase grease as such before installation so you do not have to pay more for your car to be lifted again (unless you have a lift you lucky sonuvagun) |

I like them - 02/01/2008
Review for: EZ-990 Medium Duty Helper Springs - Pair
The springs arrived on time and at a good price. I have not installed these yet but I had the exact same model on my last Dodge B 150 van for 80K miles and had no problem. I carry a full load of carpenter tools (and more) and they did the job without any squeeks or groans. Takes some effort to install with the fact you have to loosen the u-bolts on the rear axle. |

Very good product if you can get the right parts - 01/23/2008
Review for: Rear 1-1/8 inch 4140 Chrome Moly Steel Anti-Sway Bar
I purchased this anti-sway bar for a Toyota Tundra DC to help with body roll. This made the ride completely different. The truck stays much flatter in turns now and Im completely satisfied with the handling. Performance center was good in helping me deal with the manufacturer. The product comes with two sheets of paper with very unclear instructions and no parts list. I know my way around in the garage, but I was disheartened when I had the whole install almost completed only to discover I was missing two brackets for the endlinks. This is a huge problem for Hellwig. Ive seen this happen to other buyers at least ten times. I would not expect to get all the parts on the first order unless you do it by phone and have someone go over the list with you. They will get them out 2nd day air when they do fail to include all parts. In summary, product is excellent, service from the manufacturer not too great. |
