I installed this shifter on my 1997 S-10 2.2l when I was home on leave from deployment. It is simply amazing. The installation is easy and quick. The throws are short and makes driving the truck even more enjoyable. Plus it looks a whole lot better than the stock version. I was able to fit the oversized boot under the center counsel, however it is a tight fit. I would recommend this product to anyone who loves to drive their manual S-10, well worth the money.

This shifter is amazing. When I first went to drive the truck it did'nt feel right because the gears are so close and firm. It does not have a sloppy feeling at all like stock. It takes a bit to get used to, but it is awesome. The only downside is the boot doesn't fit under the console too well, so I took mine out, but the shifter itself is well worth it.
