Installation
Direct-Fit Converters are the same size as the OEM converters they are designed to replace. Direct fit converters may or may not be a bolt-in installation. To determine whether your converter is bolt-in or weld-in simply check the connection of the converter you are replacing. If the OEM converter is welded in, then the catalytic converter replacement will also need to be welded in. Likewise, if the OEM converter is a bolt-in, the catalytic converter replacement will be bolt-in as well. Direct fits are the best choice from an ease of installation standpoint.
