Instructions were not as concise as I would have preferred. Missing steps were found to be critical and the lack of detail prolonged the installation. The overall product is of good construction and does serve its purpose. It is misleading as far as the locking feature. This is NOT a device that can secure your bed by itself. In conjunction with a locking tailgate this tonneau can secure your bed storage area.
