Did not notice any change in performance. But have noticed truck is a lot harder to start. On installation it took close to five hrs to put on my 1996 dodge 1 ton with an 8.0 liter v10 engine. The tubes could be reworked to bring them to the front of the radiator support by the drivers head light in stead of making a 180 degree turn over the top of the motor and going over to the passenger head light which would help in performance a lot better. I would not recommend this product for this particular application. Not worth the expense.
It only takes about 60 min to complete the install but i dont feel that it increased the power at all and gas mileage is not any better, maybe worse.
Didnt feel any power increase and no better gas milage. the intake noise was louder also, I should have looked at the K&N dyno graph first as the only power increase was almost at red line. Not worth the money, I took it off and sold it on Ebay and put on the K&N stock filter and a throttle body spacer and got the best performance that way
This system was fairly easy to install. Took about an hour. Kit was complete including all fasteners. I don't notice much in the power but gas mileage increased about 10%. That's pretty good when the engine only gets about 9.5 mpg to start.
