Better Gas Mileage

I took a trip from MI to my parents house in NC and was getting about 17 mpg in my jeep cherokee. I had the part delivered to NC and installed it before making the trip back to MI. On the ride back I was getting about 19mpg. It feels a lot peppier too. I would never order anything from this company again though. It took about two weeks to get my part.
Comment from PCW - Actually, it took exactly 9 days from the date you ordered for it to be delivered to the other side of the country during the holiday shipping season (December). That's just over a week and seems like a bad reason to "never order anything from us again" - but that's just my $.02.
Great intake

This is an easy product to install. I like K&Ns reputation for building quality components. The horsepower wasnt extremely noticable in my 4.0L Jeep, but I was just trying to open things up more than I was gain horsepower.
Ahh, the Jeep can breath

Great product, noticable power difference. Allows for faster acceleration and throttle response. 1 mpg difference and the engine is not starved for air at higher speeds. And for anyone that is leary of internet sites...this place is awesome, superfast!

I have had a K&N filter element in every one of my cars. Very happy with the quality and performance. The Gen. II Kit was eazy to install with clear instructions. The hardest part was getting the rubber seal on the edge of the metal heat shield. If this came installed from the factory, I would give it 5 stars. The performance is noticeable. Just more of a good thing as I already had a panel type K&N element on my Jeep 4.0L. I would definitely recommend the system, especially with an upgraded free flowing exhaust system. More efficient fuel usage, better performance and response. Can't go wrong. Performance Center delivered as promised.

It was a very easy install, took less than 20 minutes, the hardest part was taking off the old airbox. The FIPK kit made a big difference in the exhaust tone actually (vehicle has an aftermarket exhaust) and there was a little bit of intake noise too, Gas milage did not go up very much but it is better. Now i get about 15 miles more in a tank of gas. Power was not a big increase but was still noticeable...Overall a great product

This intake is incredible...i am a Jeep technician and dont normally buy into this stuff, but it really does work well. Improved throttle response and great gas mileage improvements. Easy to install, however i do reccomend the optional drycharger cover for the filter, it really helps it to stay clean longer and doesnt seem to affect the perfomance. Great sound also.
Nice product

Installation was easy, took about a half hour. Noticed a definite increase in power, throttle response, low-end pickup and high-end punch. Also adds a nice throatier sound to the engine when you put the hammer down.
easy install

The installation was easy and the instuctions were well writen and include pictures. There is a bit of a wine that the filter makes under heavy excelleration. I have no gas mileage inprovements but I did run a k&n filter with the stock air box. All in all i like it
Good investment - idiot-proof installation

Very easy to install and has well-written instructions. NOTICEABLE improvement in throttle response, gained 1-2 MPG. Two drawbacks: the filter takes a day to clean so your vehicle is out of commission (unless you drive without the filter). Are spare filters avail.? Also, you cannot use a throttle body spacer if this is installed.
Very good

I bought the K&N intake system for my '99 Jeep Cherokee, and I am very pleased with it. Installation was quite simple, the instructions are clear. You may need power tools to get the nuts and bolts undone and tightend. Other than that, adds a noticeable power increase and better sound to the engine.
