K&N 33-2201 Direct Replacement Washable Air Filter

A friend recommended the K&N Air Filter for my Hyundai Tucson. I was able to install it in less than 5 minutes, and could feel a difference in my cars acceleration from the moment I pulled out of the driveway.
I had 1/2 tank of gasoline when I installed the filter, and have already seen an increase in fuel economy of 2 miles per gallon on that 1/2 tank that was in the car. I am looking forward to seeing the miles per gallon now that I have filled up.
Any increase in gas mileage with prices as they are is very welcome, and the difference in feel and acceleration is a bonus! Thank you for a wonderful product.

This is my third K&N Air Filter. I really enjoy not having to worry about replacing it. Over the life of the car, I think that it pays for itself with the fuel economy and the savings over regular filters. I drive compact cars, so Im really not seeing big HP gains, but I do get a little better gas mileage.

I've put K&N filters in every vehicle I've owned for about the past 10 years. I've also given them as gifts and recommended them to friends and family. For the money, they are simply the best filter made. I was a little surprised that this and my motorcycle filter required a little modification to work. This Explorer filter just required a foam liner, but it's good I looked at the directions. The motorcycle filter I bought required a fair bit more than just that.

This K&N filter is a great replacement for 'stage 1' mods. for the Elantra, especially with the auto trans. You really feel the gain in the upper revs. My 0-55 mph. times were quicker by .9sec. and spot-to-spot runs went from 100 to 110 mph., city mpg. increased about 2, so far, no chance to estmate hwy. This is a worthwhile investment for starters.!!! KN# 332201
