Granatelli 410000 Enclosed Cold Air Intake

I installed the Granatelli CAI on my 2001 Silverado 5.3L. I already had a Jet Performance throttle body spacer installed which complicated the install to say the least. If you don’t have electric fans, this product will not fit with an aftermarket throttle body spacer. I had to cut a block section out of my fan shroud and trim the end of the air intake tube. After all the tedious work was accomplished in order for this product to fit, the results were amazing. Excellent throttle response and acceleration increase, not to mention the healthy sound the air intake gives when you increase throttle. I give this product five stars based on the performance gains I received. Granatelli should consider creating a disclaimer advising their customers about fitting issues with throttle body spacers. Finally, it looks fantastic under the hood.

I finally got this thing on it has the worst directions I have ever seen had some fitment issues with clamps and it does not fit air tight around the heat shield sounds like it sucks a lot more air but did not notice any power increase

very noticable power gains. increased gas mileage. easy to install would recomend over K&N.
