I am extremely satisfied with these lights. All the components are high-quality and were well packaged. The installation is not difficult, although it does take the better part of a day to do it right. By right, I mean taking the time to wire tie all the wires neatly out of site. I also recommend using the Taylor convoluted tubing which is available on this site. The stuff at the hardware store isn't as nice. The ballasts are smaller than I thought and that makes it easier to mount. The wires are all pre-terminated, but if you might want to cut them shorter to save clutter. Just make sure
you make good connections when attaching and splicing wires so there are no shorts. As for operation of the lights, the HID fogs are not the best for fog because they are so bright. But that is OK because I didn't get them for fog. I am running them in conjuction with the KC Long Range HIDs. The Fogs give the widest beam to light up the front and sides of the road. Then the stock headlights and long range lights work to light up the front. If I only had one pair, I'd go with the HID Driving lights which are in-between the fog and long range lights. Now I've got to pick out some
new light covers as the white/blue covers that come with the lights clash my all black Ford 4x4 E-350 Van. (No it doesn't have a red A-team stripe!)
