What can I say bad about K&N? This is the third K&N kit I have had for vehicles, and its just as good as the others. I would recomend it to anyone. I did notice better gas milage (AS LONG AS MY FOOT IS NOT IN IT!) but it can hurt just as easily if your driving faster and using the improved responce than before you installed it. So as long as your driving habbits dont change after you install it, you should see better gas millage. But good luck with that one, Im to the floor at every on-ramp now! Did notice a little deeper sound but not much. A cat-back kit will help work with this unit to improve everything.

I put a K&N air filter in all my cars. When I replaced my 2000 Jeep Wranglers suffocating paper air filter I could tell it was breathing air much better. You can feel the diference right away. Im not sure about Gas savings but I assume since your car can suck air in more freely you will get a mpg or two better fuel economy. It is easy to install too. My wrangler took 30 seconds to install. I installed this two days before a 4000 mile trip. I had an increase of 2.5-3 mpg on the trip. The last 1200 miles I towed a 16 gooseneck tralier with two horses, I was able to run 65-70 mph and still got 10-12 mpg, not bad for a 350. I would recomend this to anyone. The increase in mileage on this trip more than paid for the kit. Great product!

I own a 2003 K1500 HD w/the 6.0L motor. I was warned the 6.0L was a dog but many years of experience told me otherwise. I installed a custom designed exhaust that really opened up the horse power range and increased my mileage from 12.5 to 13.5 mpg. I highly recomend modifying the exhaust first or at the same time. After installing the K&N kit, my mileage rose to 15.5 mpg. and I realized MUCH better throtle responce with a noticable seat of the pants increase in performance especially at highway speeds. I am very pleased but be warned, it does make the intake extremely loud under load (just turn up the radio).

all i can say is that this was a great investment. the sound of the air sucking when u mash the gas is unbelievable. also it added about 1.5 to 2 mph to my truck. its a great buy and easy to install, it only took about about an hour. also it just looks real mean under the hood. everything was included with no scratchs on the chrome or anything else. this intake is a must have.

Still not done with a full tank of gas. There is a noticeable HP boost. Bought it mostly for higher mpg. I also installed the magnaflo cat back exaust. The whole thing sounds amazing.

I could not believe what a difference this product made. A buddy came over and installed this for me and then took it out for a test drive. What you will notice first is the horsepower going up with a little whistle type noise, but when you step on the gas, it all comes out and roars hard. I feel that this is the best product out there for more fuel and horsepower, and air for my truck. I also added these parts as well = Bankspower single exhaust kit, Shocks all around, JBA headers, throttle body spacer, the Altima Red Top battery, and also bought the SUPERCHIPS programmer is a must have for the HEMI, the Weston Side Bars, and Grill.
