Not bad, could be better - 06/06/2008
Review for: Lifetime, Washable, Direct Replacement Air Filter Element.

Very easy to install. I gained 1.5 to 2 MPG. Any improvement on mileage is welcome. I am going to switch gasoline brands to see if that helps. I have a 4-cylinder Fusion, with an average MPG reading, so I can maximize MPG by keeping an eye on that reading.
The car seems to be a tad more peppy also. I dont recommend buying the recharging kit because it is ready to install when received and good for like 50,000 miles. Thats a long way away! I am looking for any way to save on fuel, thus my wallet! |

Ordering and shipment was quicker then estimate. Took longer to open the box then it did to install the filter. K&N speaks for itself and is the easiest mod you can do. |

K&N makes great filters - 06/02/2008
Review for: Lifetime, Washable, Direct Replacement Air Filter Element.

What more can I say, been using K&N filters for many years now. Just got a new car so first thing I ordered was a new K&N. Have always been happy with their stuff. Well made, essentially lifetime warranty, and great customer service. Performancecenter also has great deals, if they have an item I am looking for, this is where I get it. |

K&N Air Filter for 02 Blazer 4x4 - 05/29/2008
Review for: Lifetime, Washable, Direct Replacement Air Filter Element
|
|||
You will not notice a power difference if that is what your looking for, gas usually is about 2-5 MPG difference so the filter WILL pay for itself. I am also using a tornado which helps for that little bit of boost and MPG as well. If you want power (10-20 HP and Torque, and a little bit better MPG than a filter) go for a cold air intake, if you want a filter that you do NOT have to replace and can get a little bit extra out of, give it a try. I hope this helps. |
