Order these shocks to replace blown rear OEM on my Honda Odyssey. The van has 80K miles on it. I ordered these shocks on sale. Prompt shippment and easy install. I can feel the complience of the new shocks. I do wish there are higher series of the same make. I do recommand these shocks for the Odyssey and plan to replace the front struts sometimes later. |

good product, great price

Same as stock for a whole lot less. Installed easily and matched my 95 accord perfectly. Performance Center had the best price on the web, about half the price of the large auto parts chains in my area.
The only audible I called was that KYB calls for replacing the bump stop plate with their washer. The one on the Honda struts were silver dollar size, while the KYB replacements were smaller than a dime in diameter. Since the bevel on the plate was the same, they stopped on the strut shaft at the same location. But the Honda version stretches the length of the rubber bump stop and would provide effective resistance, while I think the KYB would probably just sink into the bump stop. So I didnt replace it. |

New KYB's work great on Tribute
Review for: Rear GR-2 Twin-Tube Gas Shock

I just put these KYB GR-2s onto the back of my 4wd 01 Mazda Tribute. The biggest hassles were getting to the top nut behind the plastic panels, and needing the rubber side washers that fit either side of the bottom mount. Not hard at all, and I didnt even have to jack up the car. The ride is great! Fronts are next. |

KYB - Front Right GR-2 Twin-Tube Specialty Shock
Review for: Front Right GR-2 Twin-Tube Specialty Shock

Strut seems to work well enough. Wish it came with all the extras that the Tokicos do (it came with one nut) but Tokico doesnt make a strut for my model.
Ive only had them on for a day but the ride back from the mechanic was smooth. Havent tested over speed bumps yet, though. |

Camry rear Shocks: KYB GR2
Review for: Rear Left GR-2 Twin-Tube Gas Strut
|
|||
I am well satisfied with my KYB GR2 shocks for my 99 Toyata Camry. As a result of instalation the over all car/body height at the rear was raised over an inch restoring my Camry to the original spec height.
The ride is very good just slightly stiffer than I remember the OEM ride when the car was new. After installing these two new rear shock / struts I bounced the rear of the car up and down. It was hard to get the rear of the car to bounce at all but I was able to press the rear end down somewhat. It recovered really well i.e when I bounced the rear end down then let go the rear end simply returned to normal height and did not bounce up at all.
On the road the car rides nicely now with no bouncig at the rear even with three adults seated in the back seat. Very smooth and quiet ride now.
One suggestion: I bought new KYB mounts with the KYB shocks. It would be helpful if the instructions that come with the mounts clearly show which way the angled mount is supposed to be installed on the car as well as on the shock. Current KYB instructions are not clear on this point.
Right now I am well satisfied with these shocks. I will have to wait and see if they last as long as the OEM rear shocks (125,000mi). |

KYB Rear GR-2 Twin Tube Gas Sturt- 1995-1999 Dodge Neon
Review for: Rear GR-2 Twin-Tube Gas Strut
|
|||
The Twin tube struts have a slightly more agressive feel to them when cornering, and provide a nicer more comfortable ride compaired to stock struts, and they are very affordable, the only down side to these is that the housing for the spring is slightly different, but i guess that would allow for different spring types, overall I rate these struts a four out of five. |

I am very happy with this product. It took awhile to leave the factory for shipping, but other than that no complaints. I didnt install them myself, either so cant really say much about the difficulty but this is a great product. |
