Excellent find, originally went to muffler shop and they also had magna flow but with the single tip. They suggested that I buy an adapter that makes it look like a dual. Would have cost the same but it just wouldnt have been the same. Glad I searched online, didnt wait too long,easy instalation and it looks sweet. |

this cat back is the best for any VW/ audi!! has great deep, low tuned sound, not annoyingly loud like the cannon mufflers you see on all the hondas. i put this on my Bora 1.8t and it sounds great! and i can feel the power gains aswell. |

this cat back system for the jetta 1.8T is awesome! has a great deep low growl sound! perfect for the euro car sound. not that annoying higher pitched cannon muffler sound you see on the hondas everywhere. it looks great, i got the twin tips. easy to install. and i can feel the power gains from it aswell. its nice and quiet while cruising, and sounds mean and aggressive when you get on the gas! this is the only cat back any euro car owner should buy!!! |

very good built muffler looks really nice all welded up. good deep tone. only thing is kind of drowns out the sound so its not quite as throaty as i thought it would be when you put your foot in it. still awesome muffler though! goes great with an intake at the same time. i recommend this muffler |

This muffler is very quiet with a mellow interior tone. It is only loud during accelerations, but mellows out during cruzing.
I originally had a Magnaflow 12279 muffler. This was a straight through muffler. But louder both externally and internally.
The 12579 is not a straight through muffler.. Instead, the center inlet splits into two straight pipes and then back to single. I believe this helps lower the tone and does not affect performance. I feel no loss of power or drag during acceleration and cruzing.
I defiantly recommend this muffler for any Nissan or Toyota pickup with V6.
