Mass airflow sensor - 07/25/2008
Review for: High-Flow Mass Air Sensor
|
|||
Purch. for a 2002 Chevy Tahoe Z71, looking for better fuel economy. Getting at least 1 mpg more with this installed. Also have K&N cold air intake and Gibson cat-back exhaust. After reading other reviews I was worried about the check engine light coming on, which is why I opted for the Granatelli versus the Jet since the Jet seemed to have more problems with this. With the Granatelli, I have had the check engine light come on twice in the first 1,000 miles, but it only stayed on for a short while before disappearing. I didnt see any obvious performance increase, but my best mileage increased from 15.81mpg to almost 17mpg so far. It was easy to install. Would have been even easier if installed at same time as air intake. |

Converted To Mass Air - 07/15/2008
Review for: Black Mass Airflow Sensor
|
|||
I converted my 88 Mustang GT to mass air. I chose to use the Granatelli Mass Air Flow sensor calibrated for 19 lbs injectors. It was easy to install. After the completion of the conversion the car idles smoother, accelerates better and I noticed the car runs a little bit cooler. I attribute that to the the fact that now my 5.0 is getting the correct fuel/air ratio at all RPMs. |

Awesome product! - 06/11/2008
Review for: Black Mass Airflow Sensor

Although I had to wait over a month for this part to arrive, It was well worth the wait. I installed this on a 99 chevy camaro that already had a volant cold air intake, magnaflow cats, and a borla exhaust system on it and it really opened it up. noticable power gains through the entire power band. VERY IMPRESSED |

Mass Air Flow Sensor - 04/17/2008
Review for: Blue Mass Airflow Sensor

Great Product good price, its a good upgrade and adds more torque. You gotta have the cold air intake to go with the mass air flow sensor or it wont work the way its supposed to. |

2001 GMC Sierra 5.3ltr 1500 - 01/27/2008
Review for: High-Flow Mass Air Sensor
|

Installed this product inconjunction with a K&N 77 Series Cold Air intake. Not sure which gives me the instance response with the gas pedal and power to the rear wheels but when it is raining outside an you apply just a little to much gas and my tires are spinning. |

Totally surprised! - 10/07/2007
Review for: Black High-Flow Mass Air Sensor

This product seems fantastic. I put it on my 1999 Suburban two months ago and wanted to get a good feel of the product before I wrote a review. Previously I installed the Air Raid Throttle Body Spacer to my engine. Now after adding this Mass Airflow Sensor I have a 3 MPG improvement. Hard to believe I went from 12.5-13 to 16.7 mpg with hiway driving. Throttle response and power are better as well. I am glad I decided to give it a try. |
