I had a straight through pipe without a muffer and had great performance until the neighbours complained one day about the noise. I purchased a Series 40 and installed it about 4 yers ago. Just repalced it again and have the same great performance as if there were no muffler but without the hassles from the neighbours and better gas mileage. Flowmaster has a great product and will purchase again for my next truck !!!! |

I wanted to convert my factory, single exhaust system to a dual. I needed two replacement mufflers of the right size and pipe orientation to make it work. I was also concerned that they not be too noisy. The Performance Center rep was able to find the correct match for my car model. The order came in no time and the mufflers fit perfectly! Just the right amount of purr, too! Im very satisfied with the product. |

This muffler puts out a good sound but I wished it was just a little louder. Overall, this is a very nice muffler and has a very nice deep sound and I would recommend it to others. |

very good built muffler looks really nice all welded up. good deep tone. only thing is kind of drowns out the sound so its not quite as throaty as i thought it would be when you put your foot in it. still awesome muffler though! goes great with an intake at the same time. i recommend this muffler |

This muffler is very quiet with a mellow interior tone. It is only loud during accelerations, but mellows out during cruzing. I originally had a Magnaflow 12279 muffler. This was a straight through muffler. But louder both externally and internally. The 12579 is not a straight through muffler.. Instead, the center inlet splits into two straight pipes and then back to single. I believe this helps lower the tone and does not affect performance. I feel no loss of power or drag during acceleration and cruzing. I defiantly recommend this muffler for any Nissan or Toyota pickup with V6. |

I put this on my 2003 Ford Ranger V6. I already had a 2 1/2 cat back exhaust but I was not happy with the way it sounded, so I opted to buy a magnaflow. I am really happy with the sound. it sounds the best between 2500-3500 rpm |

The muffler is well built. I am satisfied with the quality. It was installed on my 94 Honda Civic with a 1.5L. I had the muffler installed with a custom 2 1/4 header back system. It was very raspy alone. So, I added a glasspack resonator as well and that helped. With the resonator, it is kind of raspy sounding at certain RPMs. Idle sounds excellent. Deep interior resonance. Muffler is black. Less conspicuous than a polished stainless steel straight through muffler! Glad my exhaust is unique. It does a decent job of cancelling out most of the bad tones. |
