I do not have a oil temp gauge so I wasnt able to do a before and after test but I have no complaints about this product. It came packaged well, quality parts, easy install.

I am a little bummed that I now need to use a 3 filter from now on and I cant use the OEM sized 2.5 filter any more. The customer should be informed about this ahead of time. - Josh

when installed this is the best system you can use i went from using 6 qts of oil in my 03 Silverado to 9 qts no more wimpy oil filter now I have 2 filters each one being twice the size of the original one. if you own a silverado and you get this, only get the adapters the kit will be useless. I had to run braided hoses because I had to run the hoses across the engine and because of the braided hoses better fittings will need to be used.

The hub was milled with tight tolerence to fit my water pump. The installation was straight forward. I was somewhat difficult to line up the fan, hub and pulley to the water pump. Plan ahead and make time to install. I had to work around a fan shroud.

It is simple to install and works. I had to set on lowest setting because the 14 Fan I installed on my 69 Camaro doesnt allow you to put probe in center of fan. The fan is used only when puller fan does not provide enough cooling.
