when installed this is the best system you can use i went from using 6 qts of oil in my 03 Silverado to 9 qts no more wimpy oil filter now I have 2 filters each one being twice the size of the original one. if you own a silverado and you get this, only get the adapters the kit will be useless. I had to run braided hoses because I had to run the hoses across the engine and because of the braided hoses better fittings will need to be used.
