I have a 99 f-150 with a 4.6 5-speed, shipping was fast-instalion a little tough,very good instructions , only problem I had was the EGR-tube,but the local hardware fixed me up with some 5/8 unions and I made it work!! I have a flowmaster 40 series catback system and it sounds like a 5.0 mustang, Have gotten many complements on sound!! Picked up more bottom end power also,engine runs alot cooler too....these JBA headers are worth the money!!

Shipping was great, received the headers a few days after ordering. Headers fit great, driver’s side was wasnt too hard to get in but the passenger side was a pain. Had to remove the passenger side motor mount bolts and raise the left side of the engine up to get the header in. I didn’t use the exhaust bolts shipped with the headers because they seamed to short and were very difficult to screw on because of such a tight fit. Ended up using Dorman exhaust studs which maid the install a little easier. I also had to fabricate a custom wrench/socket so I could tighten the hard to reach nuts. After the install I noticed a significant increase in take off power. Now I just need to install the JBA CAT back exhaust I just ordered.

Bolted these on my 97 K1500 5.7, along with magnaflow high flow SS cats and SS cat-back system. Lets just say back pressure is not a problem. Truck sounds great, sweet chevy rumble purr at stop light, chevy roar at WOT, hauling ass and sucking gas. - Only thing that was a miss was JBA bolts and seal were a flop, replaced with FEL-PRO hedder seals and all SS hardwear and SS hedder bolts.

Installation was not a piece of cake, manual calls for 6 hours, believe me is a real pain to get them in, took me a lot longer than that; but it was worth all the trouble. Truck runs great lots of power increase running 1/4 mile in 14.3sec @96mph.

After hearing a leak in the exhaust of my 01 Tundra 4wd I was told by the dealership I needed new manifolds at a price of $1400 w/ labor. A lot of research lead me to the JBA headers from Performance Center as a replacement. I started my order w/ PC at 8:30 one night and stopped about 1/2 way through to check availability with a CSR the next day. Before I had the chance to call PC I was contacted by Justin saying they recieved 1/2 of my order and they had the part I wanted in stock. He also said that their office is local, so if I wanted to come pick the headers up they would be there ready for me. No hard sale or any pressure just GREAT SERVICE! This product is far superior to what is in the truck stock. Installation is a little tough (it is a Toyota!) It can be done without removing the motor mounts but is as close to imposible as you can get. Follow what everyone says and remove the mounts and you will save a ton of time and headache. These headers add a noticible amount of power and even with the stock exhaust give a better sound. I will be buying the rest of the JBA exhaust system from PC soon.
