This is a great product, I have noticed better throttle response on take off, which it needed for the oversized tires I have on it. It has given the borla exhuast a litte deeper sound, so now it doesnt sound to much like a V6. The instructions were right on. I HAVE NOT noticed any gas improvement, but that may be my fault I like to here the sound. All and all I will use the product again if need be. |

Good product, descent power gains from mid to high rpm range. A little disappointed on sound though.... doesnt sound as good as I thought maybe cause my flowmaster sound over powers the intake? but looks good and with the power gains my mpg went up as well by 1-2mpg. |

Volant cold air intake: so far so good

I like this system. Installation was a snap. However, I did have to remove the throttle body spacer. If you dont buy the snorkel with it, you will need to plug off the opening for the snorkel as the kit did not come with a plug. Thus, it sucks in hot air from the engine compartment. Knarly deep throaty sound and better throttle response. |

So i am one of like the 3 ORIGINAL prototype trucks for R&D on intake... I LOVE IT!!!!! the intake makes 6th gear able to pass... the sound is loud, but that was on the first production run, i made a thicker lid, sounds perfect.. and the VVT-i kicks a wicked snarl out just a split sec b4 i hit the redline, so i know when to shift... over all nothin but grins here... BUY IT!!! and get the scoop... more air= more milage |

Cold Air Intake System

2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7. Volant Cold Air Intake system. I installed the CAI just after making a 2600 mile trip to Colorado and New Mexico where I averaged 18.1 miles per gallon after installing the CAI I made a trip to Missouri where I averaged 19.7 MPG. The instructions were reasonable but anyone with an inkling of mechanical skills can install it in about 30 minutes. The sound is impressive and throttle response is magnificent, this truck just idles along turning 1900 RPM at 70 MPH. But on the open west Texas roads with 80 MPH speed limits this truck is right at home, the afore mentioned gas mileage averages are from driving at 75-78 most of the time. I am in my sixties and driving this truck puts me into my second childhood, what a HOT ROD! |

Fitment was right on, install took about 30 minutes, no issues what so ever. Looks good under the hood, quiet unless you get on the gas hard, feels like I may have picked up a couple of ponys, definitely recommend. |
