This is a nice stylish heavy duty cross-bar system. The width of the bar was a little wider then I expected but it looks fine. I own a Mercedes E320 Wagon and wanted a base system that would not take away from the style and apperance of the car. I looked at both the Yakima and Thule but could not justify the price. Additionally, many of my friends who own the Yakima or Thule products complain about how the rubber on the clamp comes loose and looks tacky. That is not the case with the Westin clamp. It was easy to install, adjust and it looks and works great.
