I bought the AEM Brute Force into for my 2001 Chevy S10 Crew Cab to gain a little power and fuel efficiency. This was the first install in a long list of power modifications to be made to my truck. The instructions were spot on, except it didnt tell me to remove one nut from the throttle cable bracket to get the mounting studs to uniform height. The other problem with the installation was that the screws on the rubber mount are cheap pot metal, not good quality steel like the rest of the components. I sheared the top screw off while trying to snug it a little. When I called AEM, they told me I would have to buy the part elsewhere; they did not even offer to sell me the part, much less replace it because I improperly installed the part in their opinion. I have been unable to find the right component online, but so far I do not have a rattle under the hood. Other than that, the intake works great. So far, I have noticed more low end torque, a slight acceleration increase, and better fuel mileage when I keep my foot off the skinny pedal. My first tank after the install saw an increase of two miles per gallon from 17 to 19 for combined city and highway driving. Normally I only get 19 MPG when I run straight highway miles (at about 75 MPH). I have not had a chance to do any hauling or towing to assess increases there. All in all, it does what it is advertised to do, and it looks great. Also, I will recommend Performance Center to anyone. It is a great site, and I plan to do a lot more shopping here.

Good product, easy to install. Definitly can tell the power increase. Gas seems a little better too. I hear it roar a little when I get on it now.
