At first I was tempted to buy one of the cheap shifters on ebay for less then half the price, but I knew what the outcome would of been. This shifter is a piece of solid craftsmanship and offers a way more solid feel over the stock shifter. It installs pretty easily and comes with nice detailed instructions. Mine also included 3 big B&M stickers which is always a nice addition when you drop $200 on a shifter. All in all I highly recommend this shifter. Nice weighted down feel with no vibration or chatter, and the shifts are nice and crisp.

This shifter is great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it didnt come with a new dust boot and I believe it should, being that changing over your old one onto the new shifter without damaging it, can be quite difficult. The rubber could crack or rip easily if youve never replaced it prior to this installation...why would you if youre not experiencing any shifter problems from you stock shifter? The only other thing is that the instructions do not really say that it is a whole lot easier to remove the change extension if you unbolt the exhaust at the cat... although I did it without doing that with help from a buddy who pulled the exhaust over with a chain. All in all a very good product which you can install under 2 hours but maybe more if you dont have a buddy, or if youre a perfectionist like I am... If I were to buy a short shifter again Id recommend the single bend model which Im guessing is closest feel to the stock shifter as far as where it ends up. This model is great but takes a while getting used to because it doesnt come back toward you as far in like 2nd or 4th. Nice quality and really shortens you shift time up.

A great quality product and very easy to install. Jeeps are not race cars, but this definitely makes it feel more sporty and shifting easier. Highly recommend

this shifter dramatically reduced throw time and shift length. its sick how reverse is a pull up now (thats for the idiot with the first review, just read instructions and you would know reverse is up and it would take less than 2 hours to put in). overall amazing product, add a heavy duty clutch and performance is maxed on your manual tranny.
very good

the shifter is dope but make sure you dont mess up the teflon bushings because it will be a big hastle to get new ones you will have to go through b & m racing themselves you wont find the parts at any auto store you need the specific parts for B&M but other then that it is awesome it cuts down on the shift throws a lot and if you put it in right your shifts will be mad clean. i highley recomend it.

I'm pretty happy with this product other then the rattle noise. it doesn't come with any sort of bushing to go in between the shift lever and the linkage, so vibrations from the transmission are transfered directly to the shifter. i was able to fix this with plastic washers i made out of washer fluid jug. the rattle noise may not be as much of an issue with stock engine mounts instead of polyurethane.

You get an instant feel on what it is like to drive a race car. Percise shifts, little movement in gear, and best price. I was gonna but one of those knock-offs on Ebay, but I know that I wouldn't have got any better than this one!
