These shocks are about 30% bigger and stronger than the orginal OEM shock absorbers. They make a noticeable difference in performance.

If it was a percentage scale, i give it 78%. 2001 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab 4.8L (Upgraded intake, exhaust, and Hypertech tuning and these shocks as well. Everything else is stock.) OEM shocks failed after 80k miles. Ive had these approx. 3k miles. The ride is slightly better than stock although the lean is still there while turning as well as a lengthy recovery time after a hump or dip. Freeway driving is a pleasure though (i hate my freeway). I havent pulled the boat yet...If I were to do it all over again, Id go with the Heavy Duty Bilsteins. Perhaps I should look into a couple of new swaybars also? and wheels/tires? brakes? supercharger?????
