Designed for competition big-blocks, this is a Chapman Racing CNC-ported version of the Edelbrock Performer RPM head. The casting is rolled over 1.5� before machining to decrease the size of the combustion chamber without shrouding the valves. Capable of 700+ horsepower on a 468-inch engine with 12.5:1 compression, this head comes with 2.25-inch intake and 1.90-inch diameter exhaust valves, both using 11/32-inch stems in Serdi-machined ductile iron seats. The high-velocity design of these heads is ideal for race and high-performance street. Sold without springs or retainers for a variety of valvetrain combinations.
