Product Reviews
4 out of 5 stars Lift blocks
Review for: 1inch Universal Block Kit
From Las Vegas, Nevada Reviewer: Alan Hirjak   Own this product - Yes
These one inch come with u-bolts also, but they are the type that are made for smaller trucks, where the ubolts go over the axle tube. On large trucks, the u-bolts are flat type that go over the spring, so you cannot use the u-bolts for full size pickups or SUVs. But the blocks are well contructed, and fit right in any suspension are, and even come with the nipple and hole on the opposite side. So they fit my Blazer perfect. Great blocks if you are just looking for a 2 torsion lift on the front and and 1 on the back to keep the rake correct.
4 out of 5 stars 2" Lowering Block Review for Dodge Dakota R/T
Review for: 2-inch Drop Rear Block Lowering Kit
From Redwood City, CA Reviewer: Logan Kubik   Own this product - Yes
This 2" lowering block kit was used for my 2001 Dodge Dakota R/T. The kit is comes with the 2" 'ductile' iron blocks, black oxide socket head cap screws to replace the factory centering bolts, 3.75" ID Zinc plated U-Bolts with washers and nylon locknuts, both zinc plated, and an instruction sheet.

Here are the pros and cons of this kit in my opinion.

Pros:
1. Heavy duty iron blocks instead of aluminum means never having to worry about the blocks cracking.
2. Zinc Plated hardware offers some rust protection.
3. Nylon Locknuts hold super tight.
4. Installation instructions are fairly thorough with enough detail to allow anyone to complete the installation.

Cons:
1. U-Bolts have a 3.75" ID rather than 3.5" ID like the OEM U-bolts on the Dakota R/T. The difference turns out to be negligible though once the kit is installed properly.
2. As with most lowering block kits the U-bolts need to be trimmed following installation. I was hoping that this higher end kit would have the correct length bolt for a 2" block rather than a universal length that works with all size blocks.
