Hellwig helper springs bolt on to easily existing springs and help handling additional loads. Helper springs are adjustable independently and can compensate for uneen loads or a sagging problem.
EZ-550 Helper Springs are perfect for handling your lighter cargo loads like camper shells and towing smaller or lighter trailers. The EZ-550 easily bolts on to old or new existing leaf springs to provide up to 550 lbs of additional load carrying capacity. They can be adjusted independently to compensate for uneven side loads or to help level a vehicle with a sagging problem.

Installed in less than twenty minutes on a 2001 Astro Van that pulls loaded pop-up camper trailer. The van doesn't drag the hitch on the ground at every little bump and the ride is still very cushy and it keeps the van level nicely.

I have put the ez-550 on two trucks now. My first one was a 2000 nissan frontier w/extremely weak/sagging springs. These helper springs lifted the rear end about 3/4 inch and really stiffened and leveled out the truck. I then put them on a 98 2x4 Toy Tacoma w/similar results (1/2 inch lift). Great springs for minor leveling and small loads. Easy install.
