Description
Accu-Speed is designed to correct the speedometer in a computer-controlled vehicle that has changed tire size (smaller or larger diameter) and/or gear ratio. The JET Accu-Speed works with any electronic speedometer and hooks up in line with the vehicle's ECU (computer). The JET Accu-Speed modifies the signal from the speed sensor. This will correct the speedometer reading, ABS functions, and automatic transmission shift points. A minor installation using the easy to comprehend instruction book and you are ready to calibrate. The JET Accu-Speed will correct the speedometer readings to within 1 percent. The JET Accu-Speed can be used over and over again to correct for any future tire or gear ratio changes.

First off the wiring color code has changed for the 2005 Jeep & Jet
has not updated their info either on line or with the product packaging. I had to research to make the proper wire connections at the transfer case. Im still working on dialing in the speedometer settings using a high end GPS for accurate MPH. The JET unit seems to fluctuate about 5 MPH at any given time, you set it & all seems OK, then check it again a week later with the GPS & its 5 MPH off. I will recalibrate the JET this next weekend & see if it then stays to within its claimed 1% accuracy.
