Why do I have to send my computer to JET? Import, Neon, and Saturn vehicles do not have computer chips that are easily removed as in most domestic vehicles. Therefore it is necessary for JET engineers to either reprogram the existing chip or remove and replace it by desoldering it from the circuit board.
What will it do for my vehicle? The upgrade will provide horsepower increases and improved acceleration. Unlike other brands JET's exclusive Dynamic Spectrum Tuning (DST) provides power increases all the time, not just at wide open throttle. In addition, by having the computer in their lab, JET engineers can custom program the chip for any other modifications you have done to the vehicle.
How long does it take? If JET receives your computer at their facility by 12:00 pm P.S.T. they will return ship it to you the same day via overnight service.

The product is excellent but when i got the box to ship my ecu in the spec sheet was already filled out by someone else. i dont know if the was JET or Performance center but everything is ok now and i am happy.
Jet Chip upgrade for 2002 Boxster
The turnaround time was as avertized, no issues with operation of car after reinstall, I cannot determine any performance improvement maybe a very small amount just because maybe I want to find it after spending $300.00 including my shipping cost back to the programmer that was not included in the price. It would be nice if they sent you a dyno chart showing before and after H.P.

I can tell a difference in the power and for me was worth the money. Works perfectly, and cheaper than going through Jet directly. Awesome service will definitely use this company again.

I didnt get the added gas mileage that I was anticipating, but I did get some added umph from my 96 3.4L engine with over 200,000 mi on it.

I expected more but dont we all.I do get more go with less mash the gas,faster response when I hit it on a hill for passing. All in all I got my moneies worth,and the service was perfect.
Toyota Solara,2004
I installed the JET - Factory ECU Upgrades in my 2004 Toyota Solara convertible in March 2007. The computer was returned as promised in 2-3 days. It took quite a few miles before the results started to be noticed. The car was more responsive throughout the entire rev range, but it still was no rocket. The 3.3L 225 HP v6 with the Jet upgrade, a TRD exhaust and cold air intake kit just cant makeup for the convertibles added weight.
The JET - Factory ECU Upgrades, did make a difference and I believe was worth the $.

i have a '91 toyota pickup with 4" lift and 33x12.50 durango M/T. its pretty slow. after i bought this upgrade it gave it a better throttle response n made it a little bit faster. and before i couldnt even get a chirp out of the tires and now i can spin both with no problem. overall i'd say its worth buyin.
Nope, not seein' it
I don't believe this product worked, like the above poster, I put this into my 1995 Audi 90 Quattro and coupled this with porting the throttle body, and all the gains I can see are from the throttle body. I did some research and found some rumors on the internet saying that if you have a hitachi computer, not a bosch, it is impossible to program. I sent my computer in, got it back with some stickers on it saying if I open I void the warranty. After installing I am sad to say that I have come to the conclusion that those rumors were true. So, if you have a hitachi, don't do this.
Great upgrade but late shipping
Customers pay a premium for this service because JET Performance promises to Overnight ship the upgraded computer back to the customer same day if received before 1200 (noon) on a weekday. This did not happen. They received my ECU at 10:30am Monday, which should have shipped that evening (Tuesday morning at the latest). JET didn't ship my ECU till Wednesday afternoon, which didn't arrive till Thursday morning.
