Superchips 1715 Ford Truck Max Micro Tuner

First of all..... your site was the first of five I checked that didnt tell me this tuner was out of production and unavailable. It took a couple of weeks, but was delivered from the manufacturer.

I installed the tuner in a 1998 Ford E150 Chateau Van. The installation of the product was straight forward (you must follow the instructions). The improvement was really more than I expected. It really woke up the sleepy 4.6L V8. I tried all three levels of performance. Even the lowest level (87 Octane) helped alot. The two higher levels really surprised me. I like the performance level best, but ended up going with the performance/tow level, because the power is almost as good and I do occasionally pull a small trailer with our 4 wheelers. My van is like a completely different vehicle. I even picked up around 3 mpg in town. I havent checked it on the road yet.

I finally received the product a little over two weeks after ordering i installed it and it realy does make a difference especally if you have other mod done as well it builds off of them and make some good power the shifting has greatly improved i have a shift kit already installed and it shifts realy great at wot it sets you in the seat on the 87 octane tune it picked up some miles per gallon not sure just yet exacutally how much but some the only problem i have had is ive got check engine lights coming on for a to rich and also a to lean condition on both banks i think it is a o2 sensor issue not a programmer issue but i am still testing and for the power difference i can put up with the lights the customer service had a little to be desired but other than that i like it.

I was looking for a speedo calibrator. when i found this product. way better than a calibrator. and no cutting wires. with a ton more options for a few dollars more. the only way to go. i stayed with the 87 octane setting, but played with the shift points mildly. truck shifts like it should. i do not like banging shifts, and with this you can get a smooth shift where you want it. and thanks fasttrackautoparts.com for making it the best price.

own a 96 bronco 5.8L everytime i use this product my idle stays at 1000 when it should be 650 i keep calling superchips and i get the usual speel it's my truck etc,etc i have no aftermarket mods except the gibson cat-back i do not recomend this product

I've installed headers, 3-inch exhaust, intake, TB spacer but the Superchips programmer had the biggest affect on power. The transmission has also improved as well. It has firmer shifts and you can make it shift anywhere you want it to.

EASY TO USE GAINED 2.5-3 MPG ON THE HIGHWAY FROM MY 01 5.4 VERY NOTICABLE THROTTLE RESPONSE NOW IF I COULD JUST GET MY WIFE TO KEEP HER FOOT OUT OF IT, i MIGHT FIND OUT IF IT HELPS AROUND TOWN OR NOT

WOW this chip really put a spark in my motor!!! the chip got here in like 3 days and was in my truck b4 the fedex man left my driveway took maybe 5 mins and i took it around the block and was more than impressed. My cousin has the same chip in his 5.4 as i do in my 4.6 and you can really tell that we have the chip!!! the way to got for 20-25hp. any one like smoked rice? cuz i smoke-um all day !!!

I am running the performance mode on my 2003 Lightning. It really woke the truck up. I gained about 2 mpg's. Looking forward to putting on a 6# pulley and running the high performance mode.

The most noticable change was the shift force, and the shift range of the auto trans. It will pin you back when it up shifts, and raises the shift rpm. Only problem I have with it is I hit the rev. limiter when shifting from 1st to second gear at wide open. This may be able to be adjusted but I have not tried yet.
