Installation
Bolts on behind your vehicles catalytic converter and whenever possible utilizes the factory mounting locations. On systems that exit in a location other that factory, Borla includes hangers that bolt around the frame and require no drilling or welding. Borla Cat-Back Systems fit even better than OEM equipment in many cases. All parts you need to complete the installation are included and are also stainless steel. All you need are regular hand tools. (Some Systems Will Need To Be Welded) Installation times range from twenty minutes to one hour depending on application and available resources. Borla Performance Industries recommends that an exhaust shop or professional after market parts installer, who has all the necessary equipment, tools and experienced personnel needed for proper installation, should perform the installation of this system. However, if you decide to perform the installation, we recommend someone should help you. Ensure the installer uses all under car safety precautions including eye protection.

I drive a 2002 rsx type-s. After installing this part i noticed its not a fart can exhaust at all which is what i was avoiding this exhaust provieds great power gains and once above about 4000-5000 rpms thats where it really shows its colors. Sounds great,fits great took about 10 minutes to install on a lift. Wondefull buy would recommend it to anyone.

Its got a nice rumble, not too loud but yet u know its a performance exhaust, and u feel the power increase off the bat. i recomend this exhaust over any other one.

This exhaust is amazing, very low rumble, a little louder than stock but a nice increase up to around 5k rpms then the intake will kick in and the intake/engine is louder. Does not sound ricey at all. If you are going for a non ricey exhaust buy this one. Only Con was that it does not come with new bolts or a gasket but they can be easily purchased. Borla has me hooked for life

The borla cat-back for my 04 Acura RSX type-s is sweet. Nice low rumble at idle and quiet at cruising speed. Very throaty when pushing hard. I noticed my mileage increase after putting it on. A gentlemans exhuast with no pimple faced gadgets.

If you are looking for an exhaust system that looks very classy, with a tip that you CAN'T fit your head in, and very quiet, then look no further. This exhaust is on our project RSX along with the AEM Cold Air Intake System. You can hear the intake over the exhaust, but the exhaust does add a nice rumble along with the intake. There is absolutely NO droning in the car, even in 6th gear at 65mph with full throttle, this is by far my favorite exhaust system out to this day.
