Determining Trailer Light Amperage: A Trailer Light Circuit Consists Of All The Lights Assigned To Each Individual Lighting Function. On A Standard 2-Wire System, The Brake And Turn Lights Are On The Same Circuit, Where On A 3-Wire System, The Brake And Turn Lights Are On Separate Circuits. Stop/Turn Lights Draw Approximately 2 Amps Each, Taillights Draw 1 Amp Each, And Clearance & Marker Lights Draw 1/2 Amp Each.
Description
Use ModuLite Adapters in conjunction with T-One connectors to eliminate excessive draw on the tow vehicle's turn, stop, and taillight circuits. Simply plug the ModuLite adapter into the 4-Flat connector of the T-One, connect the power lead to the battery. This virtually eliminates power draw from the tow vehicle's taillight circuits without cutting, splicing, of taping. This system is great on vehicles equipped with lamp-out sensors or any other application where the additional load of trailer lights may adversely affect the vehicle's electrical system.
