This product installs easy and looks professional into my 2004 5.4 f150 4x4. Shifts great and can feel the power. Improved gas milage by +1 mpg. The thing i love about this is how you can easily customize your engine settings.

I was very skeptical of these programmers and still dont fully trust them but, I believe this Evolution to be the best of em. It works as advertised period. As to the stated power & torque gains, well I aint got a dyno but you can DEFINATLY feel it. I think its main advantage over the others is; 1) In cab, near infinite & instant tuneability. 2) Systems alerts and monitoring. I love being able to pick, choose and change the parameters I want to monitor and set alerts to warn of any and all systems that exceed the value I set. There is a product that does all the same monitoring & recording minus the performance part and its nearly the same price. Edge Evo is the no-brainer. I give it a 4 only because nothing is perfect, there is always room for improvement and this unit can accept those updates or upgrades so, it is as close to a 5 as possible.

I've purchased other power programmers in the past, in my opinion nothing works better than the Edge. It has far exceeded my expectations of what a programmer can do. The Edge Evo Programmer offers so many on screen options it is unreal. It was very easy to install, and works awesome with my 06 F-150. I also installed one on my dads 07 Silverado VMax, of course he loves it too. I got significant power gains in every gear. Also, If can keep my foot off the gas, I get much better fuel mileage. It performs excellent weather Im hauling a load or just hauling a$$. Performance Center is the only place I would purchase these products. They offer the best price by far, and customer service deserves an A+ ...Thanks Performance Center!!! -Joe

This thing is great. it watches so many parameters of your vehicle. installation is straight forward. easier than reprogramming my universal remote for my tv. cant speak about increased fuel economy because i cant keep my foot out of the gas. can definately tell an improvement in power though going from stock to towing mode. tried extreme a couple of times and all i can say is wow. i dont do extreme (level 3) to often though since it requires 91 plus octane. would reccomend to anyone and everyone.

Great Product made a huge difference on my 2007 F150 o-60 time went from a 9.96 stock to a 7.7 on tow setting I do also have an airaid intake. Next to come is a Banks cat back exhaust system.

Installation was fast and easy. I liked the POD that mounts the unit on the dash. Others didnt seem too, not sure why. I didnt use the mounting tape and just left it loose on the dash. It stays put and is very easy to remove for updates and trips to the dealer for warranty work. I think it looks great. I found the best overall performance/economy gains to be in program 2 , or tow mode. If you were going to the drag strip , program 3 would most likely be best. But for everyday driving the tranny shift points are not good in program 3. I was averaging 14.1 mpg in stock form. With the edge programmer, flowmaster exaust, and K and N 77 intake, I am getting about 16.4 . Both were combined city and highway. However the biggest performance increase that I found, was the K + N intake. The edge helped alot also, but the K and N intake made the most increase in off the line power. I intalled the exaust system last, and found no increase and maybe even a slight loss in tourqe, But the big block sound makes up for any loss. And top end power and economy most likely was a gain. Overall I am happy with the edge programmer. The price is kinda stiff too me, but I would buy again. ALso I do like the monitoring screens for 4 parameters that you pick. I also like the performance monitors i.e. 0-60 , 1/4 mile times.

Wow, I installed my Edge programmer and ran 0-60 in 9.7 sec on stock settings and 87 octane in my 2006 FX4 F150. With 93 octane and the Edge extreme performance setting, I dropped my 0-60 to 7.36 sec! The ability to tune my truck to my needs has even increased my gas milage to 25+ mpg! I even loaded my own custom start-up screen with the included update software. The dash module looks ok, but I am not much on 3M tape - drill bit and a rivet gun gave a real factory finish.
5 out of 5 stars definately worth the money

The only thing I can complain about is that the housing for the programmer needed slight modification to fit so that the adhesive strips would stick to the dashboard. Other than that, this thing is great. I own a 2004 F-150 4x4 with the 4.6L. I previously installed a K&N FIPK intake, mass airflow sensor, and an Airraid throttle body spacer, none of which got rid of the sluggish response from 0-30mph. The evolution did. So far, I have only used towing mode but there was definitely a significant increase in power over the whole powerband. In my opinion, the Evolution alone is enough to make a stock 4.6L perform like a V8 should.

After taking a month or longer to get, the performer was easy to install. I have noticed a change in gas mileage, for the worst. The throttle response seems to be worse also. I can't tell much power increases either. I have tried the tow mode and performance mode. I have always been a hypertech user and thought this was a much better product. I am very disappointed.
