Installation
This muffler is intended for use on vehicles such as Chevy/GMC 2500HD or 3500 series trucks with the 6.0L and 8.1L engines. Fabrication will be required. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to have this part installed. Please be extra careful when selecting your muffler and pay special attention to the configuration and dimensions of each muffler. If you are not sure which muffler is right for your application we encourage you to contact your local muffler shop. There are NO RETURNS on mufflers! Cancellations are subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee.

Description
Flowmaster offers the latest addition to the Big Block line of performance truck and SUV mufflers. This muffler is designed with a 5inch x 10inch case with a 24inch case length for maximum case volume and efficiency. This new muffler incorporates a 3 1/2inch internal design for improved flow characteristics in heavy duty towing applications and is ideally suited for 3/4ton and 1 ton heavy-duty tow vehicles equipped with the Cummings or Powerstroke engines.

I HAVE A GMC DURAMAX WITH ANOTHER AFTER MARKET 4in EXHAUST WITH A STRAIGHT THRU MUFFLER (TERRIBLE SOUND). I INSTALLED THE FLOWMASTER 4in MUFFLER USING EXISTING CLAMPS. NOW THE TRUCK IS MUCH QUIETER AND ACTUALLY IMPROVED PERFORMANCE.
