these hubs are very very easy to install, very clear directions are given with the hubs. they are working great for me. no problems yet

I used these lockouts to replace the Automatic locking hubs that came with my 1986 Toyota 4Runner SR5. The hubs themselves look great and installation was fairly straight forward. I havent used the 4WD since I installed them other than to road test it.
As I said the hubs look great and they function very easily at least in 50 degree weather. The only grip I have is the hardware. They obviously put time and care into manufacturing the hubs, but the included washers are supposed to be some sort of locking tab thing, but they are cheap aluminum and look terrible. Also the bolts included with the spindle kit were not long enough for proper fitment. So I used some spare bolts and washers that I happen to have.
I recommend the hubs(like I said I havent really used them yet), but I would say skip the spindle conversion kit and get the parts from Toyota. Also the instructions could have been better.
