Where's the instructions
The product itself is nice, however all I received was a bottle of cleaner and the oil. No box,no instructions and neither the oil or the cleaner had any type of label, just plain bottles. I hope this came from Volant, seems to be right stuff, just rather odd that they sent me 2 unlabled bottles.
Excellent product. Was easy to use. Very happy. Great website.
Have not used yet, but sure it will work fine.
buy it cant go wrong
good product shipping was very slow!
Easy to use. Its blue.
Does an excellent job of cleaning and reoiling the filter for like new performance. Having owned a K&N filter I don’t think the Volant performs as well when dirty as the K&N, and would advise keeping the filter clean to get it to work at its best. When clean the filter seems to perform as well as the K&N, other than that the filter and cleaning kit work great, no complaints.
The kit arrives as pictured with one exception; The bottles are not actually volant materials. This is the second recharge kit I have bought for my volant filters, and both kits have contained another companys product. In this case, its S&B filters recharge oil and cleaner. There are volant stickers for the cans in the box, but if they dont put them on, whats the point. I dont believe this is a fasttrackautoparts.com issue, I think Volant is the one to blame.
Comment from PCW - Volant has been rebranding the S&B filter cleaning kit for a while. Of course it's what's in the kit that counts and the filter cleaning solution works well.
Easy to do with no problems. A must have with the Volant filters.
Own a '03 Chevy Sliverado 4.8L Std cab...standard everything!!! Since it's era in my ownership have installed exhaust and Volant's CAI w/ Ram Air Scoop. Have had great performance and throttle reponse since then. Cleaner works great, but air scoop causes an extreme grime spot on the filter where the air funnels in from the scoop. Also, J's Chevy is road kept, but even with extremly heavy rains, excessive water build up at bottom of scoop get sucked to the filter causing saturation of filter and power loss...I just put a shammy cloth in the scoop during heavy rains and
remove afterwards...works. Enjoy this product and am looking forward to the purchase of a performance chip/programmer soon.
